2. Sign in with your Google account
3. Click "Create API Key"
4. Copy and paste it here

Your key is stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers.

Since your key is used directly from the browser, restricting it at Google's end is the strongest protection available.

In Google AI Studio → API Keys → Edit restrictions:
Set HTTP referrer restrictions to your domain only.
Example: https://yourdomain.com/*

With this set, the key will only work from your site — even if someone copies it, they cannot use it elsewhere.
